Know exactly who — and what — you're voting for.

Every office on your ballot, in plain English: what it actually controls, how much it touches your daily life, and who's running. No spin. No party line. You decide.

Why this exists

Most of us walk into the booth knowing the race at the top — and guessing at everything else. But the offices you've never heard of — your county commissioner, your state rep, the railroad commissioner — often hit your rent, your roads, your schools, and your paycheck harder than the ones on TV. This makes all of it make sense — so a confused voter becomes a confident one.

What you get

The whole ballot, finally readable.

🏛️

Every office, explained

What a comptroller, a county judge, or a railroad commissioner actually does — in a sentence you'll remember, not legalese.

📊

A daily-life impact score

A 0–100 read on how much each seat actually affects your life — scored on how close it hits, how often you feel it, and how much control one person holds.

Who's behind it

Built to inform — not to persuade.

I'm Kenneth Smith. I make money and civics make sense for regular people — because information you can't understand isn't really yours. This tool is a nonpartisan project: it explains your ballot and rates what each office does, but it never endorses a candidate or a party. The goal is simple — a voter who actually knows what they're voting on.

Full transparency: I also do separate political and volunteer work. This tool is walled off from it — every candidate is presented identically, the impact score rates the office (not the people), and nothing here tells you how to vote. Always confirm your specific ballot at Vote411.org.
